Our Pastor

Pastor Charles Steven Henderson is a man of faith; transformed and moved by the Holy Spirit working within him to advance the kingdom of God through living a spiritually balanced, charismatically empowered, purposed driven life that promotes spiritual growth in others.  He has been anointed to preach the gospel to the poor; sent to heal the brokenhearted, and empowered to proclaim liberty to those who have been held captive in their minds, bodies, and spirits.  His God-ordained ministry is five-fold; teaching the practicality of holiness in an unholy world, helping men to become Godly men, advancing the kingdom of God through the use of technology, teaching on vision management and Godly entrepreneurship and leadership development.

As a minister of the Gospel, Pastor Henderson is a straight-shooting speaker who goes forth with holy boldness; yet with unyielding humility.  He preaches the Word of God with deep conviction and is committed to sound doctrine.  Pastor Henderson is a devote student of the Word and an avid reader who is dedicated to fasting and prayer.

Pastor Henderson graduated from Pacific Christian College (Now called Hope International University) in Fullerton, CA with an AA in General Studies and a BA in Psychology.  While in attendance, he was a standout athlete in the sport of basketball; earning several awards, including NCCAA All American and Conference Most Valuable Player honors.

After graduation, Henderson worked for several years in Social Services as a Child Care Worker and Case Manager; ascending to the level of Supervisor in both areas.

Professionally, Pastor Henderson is an entrepreneur who owns and operates The Koinonia House, an online Christian bookstore service, and TKH Designs, a graphic and web design studio which offers several products and services, including business and ministry branding, professional printing, web hosting, Email marketing and more.

The date of August 10 holds a special place in the life of Pastor Henderson.  On that day in the year of 2002, he was married to the former Kathrene Evette Hamilton in the backyard of their newly purchased home.  On the same day in 2007, he was ordained as an elder in the Church of God in Christ, by the honorable Bishop Charles Edward Blake, Presiding Bishop – Church Of God In Christ, Inc.

Pastor Charles & Kathrene Henderson live in Fontana, CA with their three sons, Charles, Colin and Caleb and daughters Hylyn and Hayley.
