Welcome to Worship Wednesday!
The word says in Psalm 37: 4-5, “Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; Trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.”
God asks us to delight ourselves in Him, to joyfully embrace our relationship with Him. He wants us to realize that serving Him isn’t a burden. Faithfully serving Him is an exhilarating journey taking us to new places. Along the way, He fulfills our heart’s deepest desires. This doesn’t mean He gives us anything we want. He knows if the desires of our heart are good for us. But as we take joy in Him, He longs to take joy in us and pour out His blessings on us. Even when it seems like there is no way out or nothing can be done, He is still and always will be the God of miracles.
