Worship Message:
Welcome to Worship Wednesday. Worship is much more than a song, it is a lifestyle. It is the vocal of where our heart is. No matter what we feel, how will we live our lives? Will we obey His word even when it makes us feel uncomfortable? Worship is love expressed. Worshipping God is loving Him and expressing it through obeying His commands. Let’s start with His first two commandments. Love the Lord Your God and love others as you love yourself.
God word says in Psalm 111: 1-2 (NLT), “I will thank the Lord with all my heart as I meet with His godly people. How amazing are the deeds of the Lord! All who delight in Him should ponder them.”
What an incredible gift God gives us through the people He places in our lives. He blesses us with family, friends, neighbors and colleagues. Each person brings unique insights to us. He works through them to help us become the kind of person He wants us to be. It’s amazing to watch Him accomplish His will in our life as we talk, laugh, serve and encourage each other. He also uses us in the lives of others as we journey through life together. Now, we don’t always get along but God word says in several scriptures to love your enemies. {Proverbs 25:21; Matthew 5:44; Luke 6:27; Luke 6:35}
Let this be your prayer, “Lord, I want to be blessed to be a blessing. Use me Lord, as You see fit. Let Your will be done for my life. I empty out myself to make room for you to fill me up with Your spirit, Your will, Your anointing, Your wisdom, Your strength, Your joy, Your love, everything You have for me. Lord, I am available to You, in the matchless name of Jesus, Amen!”
