Welcome To Worship Wednesday

Oftentimes we are seeking the Lord for direction, help, an answer, a sign, whatever the case may be, what are you doing while you are waiting to hear from God? There’s this thing called anxiety that often likes to creep in and tell us or convince us that God is just too slow.  But the word of the Lord says, in Philippians 4:6, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”.

If you find yourself waiting on the Lord, while you’re waiting, pray continually, praise Him and give Him the glory, and wait with expectation.  Trust in Him and believe that our God hears and answers prayer according to His will. And His will for us is far better than we could ever imagine.  The Almighty One is for you.  He wants you to live a high quality life, that He has already paid for. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”. (Romans 8:28 NKJV) 

When we wait on the Lord, we are showing that we trust Him. We are displaying our understanding that is it not by our might or by our power but it’s by His Spirit. So wait on the Lord and be of good courage, in all of your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. Wait on the Lord!
