Worship Message:
Welcome to Worship Wednesday!
Have you ever gone through trials and tribulations and felt beat up or defeated? Have you felt like you were at your breaking point and felt like you couldn’t even take another blow? But our faithful God, steps in, pulls you up, gives you strength to move forward and courage to press on. He makes a way of escape, He works miracles and He turns things around.
As we look at situations we’ve gone through, we get a glimpse of hope, that the battles we find ourselves in are not our fight. The Lord is fighting the battle for us, He has given His angels charge over us. The times when we may have thought that we were out for the count and cried out to the Lord, He stepped in, fixed us up, and helped us to move forward.
I can’t speak for anyone but I have been hurt, taken advantage of, mistreated, lost love ones, stolen from, broken inside but no matter what I’ve been through, no matter what I’ve experienced, one thing is certain, my God never let me look like what I have been through. Because of what I’ve gone through, I am stronger, I am wiser and I am better.
He allows us to come out with knowledge, strength, wisdom, truth and love. Praise the Lord that I don’t look like what I’ve been through. But as I look back over my life and I can truly say that I’ve been blessed! He is a God of healing, restoration, victory, deliverance, love, power, protection, strength, peace, joy, and is with me. Hallelujah and to God be the Glory!
The Word of God:
Philippians 4:4-9 NKJV
“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.”
Be blessed!
