Happy New Year and Welcome to Worship Wednesday!
Can we just take a moment to thank God for His goodness, His grace and mercy, His forgiveness, His correction, His unfailing love, His faithfulness and His promises. From this day forward, I want to encourage you to seek God first in all things. Allow Him to guide you, direct your path and order your steps. This is the year of alignment with Him. He wants the best for us and we often get in the way by trying to do things in our own might or with our own understanding. Let’s focus on God and set our thoughts on the kingdom of God.
In Romans 12:1-2 we are asked to be a living sacrifice to God. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
May this year be better than last year and the best that is yet to come. May the glory of the Lord fall upon you. May your will align with the will of the Lord for your life and may His will be manifested. May you encounter His presence like never before and may you seek Him diligently and grow closer to Him. Jesus, our King, our Lord, our Savior, our Redeemer, our Deliverer, our Protector, our Comforter, may He forever be in your hearts and may each day be a day full of the many wonders of God. May we study His word like never before, apply His word and walk with Him daily. May we live with purpose, intentionally setting time aside to spend intimate time with our Lord and Savior; giving Him our best, showing Him our love, honoring Him with our lives. Put Him first and the rest will He set in order!
