Worship Message:
Hallelujah, it’s Worship Wednesday!
I am so thankful for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He came to earth, died on the cross for our sins and rose again so that we may have eternally life for those who believe in Him.
Philippians 2:5-11
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross. Therefore, God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Lord God, we exalt Your name. We give You honor and glory. We praise You for who You are. Forgive us for our sins and iniquities. We ask that you help us to be more like You. Help us to humble ourselves and remove any prideful thoughts within us. We decrease ourselves so that You can be increased in us. Help us to see what You see. Help us to be on one accord with you, loving one another, being kind to one another, praying for one another. We thank You Jesus that You died on the cross for our sins and that you rose again. We thank You that you are interceding on our behalf against the enemy. We thank You that we are victorious through You and that we can do all things through You, Christ Jesus, who strengthens us. We honor You and magnify Your name. We bow in reverence of You and confess that You are the King of kings and Lord of lords. Amen!
There is power in the name of Jesus and he has given us authority in Christ Jesus. We must accept Him as our Lord and Savior. We must have a relationship with Him, spend time with Him, study and apply His word to truly be able to fully activate His word and walk in all that He has for us. Our objective is to be like Christ. He led by example as He walked the earth. His word is a lamp unto our feet and a light for our path. His word gives us the guidance we need to live a life that pleases Him. We can call on Him anytime. He is always available and waiting to talk to us. There is power in His name. Jesus, the name above all names. He has been given the highest seat of honor, the right to reign and rule. However, we often busy ourselves and get consumed with worldly issues which keeps us distracted from realizing that we have access to the most important person we could ever know. He reigns on high yet calls us a friend and calls us His own.
Be Blessed!
