Praise God for another Worship Wednesday!
The bible says in I Thessalonians 5:16-18, “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
Joy is one of the characteristics of someone who follows Christ. People see the joy even when they don’t understand it. God asks us to always be joyful but knows that we won’t always feel happy about everything this is occurring in our life. Sometimes, things are too painful for us to feel happy. But, joy is more than happiness. Joy comes from knowing that God is in complete control. God wants an intimate relationship with us and wants us to talk to Him about the things in our life. He wants us to have an active and consistent prayer life, constantly in communication with Him. He also wants us to pray about everything and to praise Him because He’s molding and shaping us into His image through every circumstance.
I pray that this song ministers to your spirit and opens your heart to continue to give Him praise through it all. Our praise is one of our weapons against the enemy’s devices. If God be for us, who can be against us? So for every mountain, He’s brought us over; for every trial, He’s seen us through; for every blessing, we say hallelujah, for this we give Him praise!
