Welcome to Worship Wednesday!
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
First of all, I give glory and honor to the Most High God who is almighty, all powerful and intentional in His love toward us. The enemy works to disrupt our worship toward our Heavenly Father whether it is our worship with the fruit of our lips; intentional prayer and study time; or worship in giving of our time, talents and treasures. He created us to worship. He expects us to trust Him fully. Our worship gives us what it takes to keep our focus on the things above. Right now if we place too much focus on the current situation of disease going around the world, we take our eyes off of Him who created us. That’s not to say that we should not be vigilant and do what we can to protect ourselves. It means that our God is bigger than any virus, disease or circumstances, for that matter, that we may find ourselves in. For every mountain He’s brought us over; for every trial He’s brought us through, we have had experiences that prove we have every reason to trust Him! We must continue to worship Him always!
Father God we trust You with our lives! We will worship You in spirit and in truth! We love You! Thank You Lord for saving us and redeeming our souls with the powerful blood of Your son Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Hallelujah!
