COVID-19 STIMULUS PACKAGE GUIDE
DETAILS:
If you are an individual making less than $75000, or Head of Household making less than $112,500 a year you will receive a Stimulus Check for $1200. If you are married couple filing jointly making less than $150,000 filing jointly, you will receive a Stimulus Check for $2400. Each dependent under 16 will receive $500 per dependent.
Stimulus Checks are not taxed.
Dependent children over 17 may qualify by filing a Simple Tax Return. (Please check with you Tax professional)
If you are not current on child support, you will not receive a check.
Amounts are based on filed 2019 taxes. If not, they will use your 2018 return. Please note, that when you file 2019 return, you may be subject to penalty if your income exceeded the thresholds.
You do not need taxable income for stimulus. (i.e. Social Security, VA recipients, etc.)
Social Security recipients won’t have to take any action. Those who normally receive their benefits directly in their bank account will receive the stimulus money in the same way. Others will receive a check in the mail — though it will likely take longer to receive the payment than those who use direct deposit. – CNN April 1, 2020
If you owe back taxes, you will still get a check!

A NOTE FROM PASTOR CHUCK
Dear Friends,
As believers, I ask that you please use this guide responsibly and reframe from any fraudulent activity. In times like this, there are always people with nefarious intentions, who seek to take advantage of the system. Let us not be named among them! There are millions who have been negatively affected by this pandemic and we want to ensure that those who need the stimulus are able to receive it.
I prepared this guide as a “help” to assist you in navigating the Stimulus package details. I am not a professional tax preparer or US Treasury representative. I am simply a pastor caring for his church and community. Also, much of this information if fluid, it may change at any moment, please be mindful and check with the various entities for the latest information.
I love you all with the love of the LORD and I pray for the health, safety and provision for you family and friends.
Sincerely,
Chuck Henderson – Senior Pastor
