Hallelujah, it’s Worship Wednesday
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” – 1 Peter 2:9
“But as God has distributed to each one, as the Lord has called each one, so let him walk. And so I ordain in all the churches.” – 1 Corinthians 7:17
It’s so amazing how much clarity comes when spending time with the Lord. God is so patient with us, so loving and faithful. If God treated us the way we sometimes treat Him, we would be devastated. It’s crazy to think that when we call on God we want a quick response, one that’s to our liking, the way we envisioned. But what’s our response when God calls us? Are we quick to respond? Do we need confirmation after confirmation? Do we hesitate, doubt, dismiss or even try to negotiate?
Thank you Lord for being the great God that You are. Thank you for your grace and mercy each day. Forgive us Lord for our sins. Forgive us for not always answering Your call. Help us to be obedient. To know who we are in You and to walk according to our purpose. We love You and Honor You Lord. In the matchless name of Jesus, Amen!
