Welcome to Worship Wednesday!

“The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” – Psalm 23:1

This verse lets us know of the Lord’s relationship with us as he is our shepherd. It emphasizes the Lord’s personal care, guidance, and protection of his people. We can rest assured in the hands of our Creator. With God as our shepherd, there is nothing we will ever lack.

A shepherd describes a more close and devoted relationship. A shepherd knows and stewards each one of his sheep. A shepherd cares deeply not only for all his sheep as a whole but also for each and every single one.  This is how God, our Shepherd, cares for us. He knows each of our comings and goings, He knows every hair on our heads, He knows when even one of us is lost and has made every provision to find us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Thank you Lord for Your guidance, protection, provision, comfort, and unfailing love! We love You, honor You and exalt You above all things.  We magnify Your Name and say Hallelujah to our King, our Lord and Savior, our Healer, our Redeemer, our Deliverer, our Shepherd!
