Worship Message:
The bible says in Psalms 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” We are instructed
For most of us silence, serenity and still ness are difficult to find. However in this verse, we are being instructed to let go, be quiet and to be still. If we are busy being busy, God’s voice can be nearly impossible to hear. It is vital to our faith to realize that the more we are deliberately still the more we can hear God’s voice, the better we recognize God’s activity, the bigger God appears and the more we follow God’s divine purpose for us, instead of just following our own ideas and agendas.
When was the last time you relaxed in the presence of God? Are you willing to set aside just a few minutes today to “be still” before God, and to listen for His voice?
