Worship Message:

It’s worship time! Welcome to Worship Wednesday. We can easily get caught up in the day to day things, the to-do lists, running around and getting caught up with the business of life.  However, we need to sometimes pause and take a step back.  We need to check in first thing with God every morning, throughout the day and before we rest our heads at night.  While we are living and going about our lives, how are we serving Him?  What would He have us do to each day?  He is our Shepherd, our guide, our protector as we walk this journey called life.  Our focus should be on Him and His kingdom building.  We can get distracted with the issues of this world and focus more on what’s going on around us therefore causing stress, anxiety, fear, depression, anger, etc.  But if we would just look to Him first, seek Him first, love Him first, call on Him first….what a wonderful change!  He’s faithful, He’s able, He is the beginning and the end.  Watch Him change your circumstance, change your mindset, change your heart, change what you see and how you see it, change your response, change you for the better.  If we want to change how we are living or what we are going through, the change starts with us.

Let this be your prayer, “Change me oh God, make me more like You. Search my heart and remove anything that is not of You.  Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me.  Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.  Be the center of my life, my Lord and Savior, my All in All, my Anchor, my Rock, my Fortress, my Comforter, my Provider, my Everything, in the name of Jesus, Amen!”
