Hallelujah, it’s Worship Wednesday and another day to be grateful!
I thank God that He is a faithful God, a loving God and a forgiving God. I thank Jesus for saving me, dying on the cross for me and for my sins. I thank God for second chances to do things correctly, to be obedient, to share His word, to live according to His will and according to His word. God knows that we are not perfect and we cannot let the enemy convince us that God can’t or won’t use us. We cannot allow the enemy to keep us stuck in being ashamed and not going to the Father and surrendering all to Him. God gives us grace and instructs us to repent and turn from our wicked ways. The word of God says in 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
God is so amazing, so gracious, so wonderful and excellent in everything He does. Today and every day moving forward, we need to purpose our lives to align with Him and align with His will. We ought to abide in Him and His word abide in us. He knows everything that we need; our hopes, our dreams, our desires and what’s even better is that what He wants for us if far better than we can hope or think. Let’s intentionally set aside time for Him every day to see what He has for us. Every morning ask Him, “Lord, what would You have me do today?” and see His mighty hand at work. Let’s be intentionally available for Him to use us as He sees fit and as we take care of His business, He will take care of us.
