Hallelujah, thank the Lord it’s Worship Wednesday!
Many of us have heard or grew up on hearing that there is no greater name than the name of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus! Circumstances begin to change, situations begin to change, the atmosphere begins to shift when you call on the name of Jesus. It’s not just saying His name but sincerely seeking Him, calling out to Him, surrendering to Him, yielding to Him, asking Him to come in and take charge! In our weakness, He is made strong. When we welcome Him in to our lives, our situations, He can turn things around, cause what was meant for evil to good. He is the Light, our Savior, our Deliverer, our Redeemer, our Healer, our Master, our Comforter, our Present Help, our Way-maker, our Counselor, our Compass in life; He is everything we need!
Let this song minister to you. At the mention of His name, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord! (Philippians 2:9-11) Demons tremble at the name of Jesus. He has given us a way of escape. He has given us the tools to use against the enemy of this world. Resist the devil and he shall flee (James 4:7); And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Acts 2:21); But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength…(Isaiah 40:31); Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness…(Matthew 6:33) These are commandments, not suggestions. The bible is our instruction to maneuver through life. He is ready and able to guide us all the way.
