Welcome to Worship Wednesday!
We sometimes find ourselves so busy or so tired because we are so busy, that we forget to include God. We search for rest and for peace in the midst of it all. Peace seems so scarce these days, in these busy lives of ours, with the pace of our world. But here’s the thing about peace, we cannot seek and attain it ourselves. We cannot work and achieve peace on our own. Not the peace we need. Not true peace in our hearts.
Rather than seeking peace itself, let’s seek more of God instead. Let’s learn to receive more of God, so that His peace just becomes our peace in the very midst of our busy lives. We want our wisdom, our discernment, our understanding, our direction, our joy, our success, our strength and our increase to come from Him.
My prayer:
Lord, I can’t make it on my own, I can’t live without You. I can’t have peace without You. I can’t be without You. I am nothing without You. So here’s my heart and here’s my mind. I give You my soul, take complete control. Oh Lord, I need more of You. Saturate my life with Your Spirit, Your presence, Your will, Your goodness, Your strength, Your wisdom, Your love and Your peace. I ask for more of You God. In the matchless name of Jesus, Amen
